Job Description:

- Develop, document, and maintain operational processes for the storage, SAN and backup environments throughout the enterprise

- Leads advanced storage deployment, configuration and provisioning assignments

- Communication peers on the networking and security teams to fulfill complex infrastructure deployments

- Creates installation and trouble-shooting documentation for use by data center operations

- Collaborate with team members and prioritize assignments

- Ensure daily/weekly updates on accomplishments and issues are communicated appropriately

- Development, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery methods and procedures

- Support development teams throughout project lifecycles

- Ability to provide support 24x7 technology support

- Ability to clearly communicate issues and remediation plans to business technology leadership team

Technical Skill Set:

- 5+ years supporting, installing, and configuring Storage Area Network (SAN) switches (Cisco, Brocade, etc.)

- 5+ years experience in Unix environment

- 5-7 years hand-on experience performing LUN assignment and masking as well as SAN switch zoning

- Must have experience performing code upgrades

- TCP/IP- Strong competency configuring and trouble-shooting on servers and storage devices

- 5+ years experience configuring & supporting enterprise backup and system recovery applications (TSM, NetBackup, etc.)

- Extensive experience trouble-shooting storage & server performance issues

- Scripting experience: Perl, Python, Bash, Korn, etc.

Plus: experience in VxVM, LVM, TimeFinder, PowerPath, MPIO, NetWorker Backup Server, NMC Server, EMC Storage Node, Clariion CX3 & CX4, NetApp FAS960
