MAC/iOS/Cocoa Software Engineer - Objective-C, C++, Agile
6-12mth Daily Rate Contract - Dublin
My Client is recruiting a Software Engineer to help create the next generation of software and services for communications incorporating voice, video, instant messaging, meetings and collaboration tools within their Dublin Office.
The Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of features for a unified communications desktop client. You will work in a scrum team, participating in group planning, daily stand-up meetings and end of sprint demonstrations.
You will champion new technologies and create scalable software.
Experience: 3+ years in a Software R&D Environment.
Technology skills required:
Have developed products on Mac/iOS /Cocoa with Cocoa
Advanced coding skills in Multi-threaded Objective-C and C++ programming
Proven skills in debugging software in complex environments
A track record of writing quality software
Object Oriented Design methodologies and Software Design Principles delivered via an Agile process environment
Proven history of program delivery over multiple release cycles
Strong teamwork and communication skills, both written and oral in a highly collaborative Agile environment.
Problem solving skills across multiple technologies with advanced analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Educational Qualifications:
B.Sc./B.Eng/M.Sc/M.Eng/PhD or equivalents in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Software Development, Computer Networking, Electronics or other equivalent disciplines with an emphasis on Software Design practices.
