ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a Senior Cisco Network Engineer for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Richardson, TX. The Senior/Lead Cisco Network Engineer will work closely with both the sales and service teams architecting, designing and leading complex Cisco solutions. The Senior/Lead Cisco Network Engineer will work collaboratively with technical and nontechnical team members across all departments within the organization. The Senior/Lead Cisco Network Engineer will attend customer meetings, design solutions to help specific customer needs, and assist in scoping customer projects. The Senior/Lead Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for a variety of functions focused on ensuring successful operation of the client's VoIP and networking services including contributing to support of security, switching, routing, wireless and other network related items.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate (Current/Valid Certification Required)
- Senior/Lead Cisco Engineer
- Cisco Collaboration Applications Design/Implementation
- Cisco UC - Unified Communications Manager
- Cisco Unity Connection
- Cisco Voice Gateways
- Cisco Emergency Responder
- Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (STRONGLY preferred, but not required)
- Cisco Unified Presence/Jabber Clients
- Cisco IP Phone Endpoints
- Cisco Digital Media Suite
- Network Infrastructure - LAN/WAN/QoS - Quality of Service
