Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for Project Manager.

You will be responsible for setting up and managing large, high profile and complex (IC) development projects with strong customer commitment. From study/idea to completion (released for mass production). You will manage a multi disciplinary team of 20 - 50 FTE, consisting of (IC) design, package development, test & product engineering, product marketing, architects and application engineers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead multi-discipline teams to successful project completion.
Provide direction and addresses issues for project team members, understanding their unique, and complimentary roles, interdependencies and responsibility of each within the project framework.
Create strong customer/supplier relations and communication including negotiations and delivery of service.
Ensure that projects plans are fully integrated and include requirements from all stakeholders on complex, higher risk projects
Define projects and their goals, estimate the budgets and the necessary resources, make sure the necessary resources are available and appoint responsibilities to the core team members
Achieve complex project goals by effectively applying necessary expertise/resources.
Make decisions while taking into consideration overall project goals. Balance cost, schedule, quality and project requirements
Establish a system of metrics and phase gates focused on initiative implementation, customer/stakeholder satisfaction and risk mitigation
Approve the project plans, monitor the progress, coache the senior team members, consolidate all project aspects, and report to PL program

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in multi-complex projects in product development
Experience with development of complex (mixed signal) semiconductor products
Five or more years of work experience as a project manager in large (>20 FTE) project life cycles; from business development to final delivery
Lead cross-functional teams with multiple disciplines representation at different sites and/or regions
Experience in negotiations with third parties
University education in business management or a technical discipline or has reached this level through another form of training and experience
Knowledge of project management methods and of (software) estimation techniques, understanding all areas of project management.
Knowledge and understanding of disciplines with which co-operation has to take place
Knowledge of change management principles and processes.
Understanding the characteristics of the automotive market is desirable
Directing and motivating Sr. project members; coaching skills required
Skills in negotiations, influencing and dealing with conflicting interests
