Software Tester - Android Smart Phones
Android Smart Phone Tester sought for our market leading customer based in Lund/Sweden.
You will work as an expert in our customers department for their Android Smart Phones with hard to crack bugs as main task. You will together with a Developer seting up work processes and tools for hard to solve issues. It is important that you have good knowledge of Android in order to find and identify abnormal issues.
A typical task could be for instance "When using FM-radio and running app X, sometimes the phone will have problem X, this occurs once per day." More traditional manual testing of Android phones will be needed in cases as such.
The ideal candidate for this role, should have the following skill set;
- You should have extensive knowledge of Android, eventlog, logcat and memory leaks.
- Experience of test of complete Android phone system test.
- Experience in writing test cases (both manual & automatic) is a bonus.
- As a person you should be self motivated, driven, pro-active and eager to dig deeper.
- Experience of ANR (Application Not Responding) would be considered an asset.
- Fluent Business level English (or Swedish).
- Eligibility to work in Sweden (EU Passport/Work Permit).
- Ability to travel to Paris if and when needed.

Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Location: Lund/Sweden
Travel: Paris on occasion
Rate: 50-55 Euros/Hour
