Oracle/Unix Engineer - Document Management and Archiving - Investment Banking, Zurich
Start: 1.12.2013 or early as possible
End: 6mth contract with extension(s) depending on performance and demand

Data Inc Switzerland is looking for an Oracle/Unix Engineer to work within a leading Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Zurich.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review Business Requirements- and Software Requirement Specifications
- Create/Review IT-Specifications
- Coding/Unit Testing
- Integration of in-house built and 3rd party software
- Technical communication with interfacing system engineers
- Configuration Management
- UNIX Packaging
- Documentation (in English)
- Creating and Tracking of Installation-Orders
- Integration-Testing, test support
- Production support (3rd Level)
Experience & Skills required
- Fluent in English, at least basic German knowledge
- 5+ years' work-experience in a similar organisation
- Solid Unix/Solaris experience
- Perl, Shell Scripting
- Strong Oracle knowledge and experience as a Developer. DBA know how is a plus
- Stored Procedures, PL/SQL
- JCS (Job controller) experience
- Configuration management (systems: Dev/UAT/Prod, Software: Packaging, Configuration, Rollouts)
- Self-reliant work style with a high level of responsibility and reliability, pro-active communication style, delivery- and quality-oriented
