VOD Test Manager & Engineers x 3 - Belgium - € daily - 12 Months
We urgently require three team members to grow to specialist functions or team leadership and coordination functions. Our client is offering long term contracts for people in the Digital media space
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of VOD
o Asset management
o Billing
o Video server
o pull VOD application
Technology areas: Video-on-Demand, DVB, IPTV, Over-the-Top
o Test Plan writing
o Test Execution (also using head-end equipment)
Experience in Digital TV Head-end Testing:
o Test Plan writing
o Testing new configurations and/or new components of digital TV head-ends
o Test Execution (using Set-Top Boxes and DVB monitoring tools)
o Bug Reporting and management
Coordination of small technical teams (0 - 4 people)
Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
Willingness to travel
Fluent in English
Tasks:
Video-on-Demand Testing
Gathering requirements, objectives
o Attending client meetings, networking
o Summarizing requirements, objectives for the test projects
Test Plan writing
o Specifying test cases & test procedure & test coverage
o Estimating required time for test execution
Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution
o Using Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools
Bug management
Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
