Collects data from various groups & provides analyses for a broad array of health care issues across disciplines & functional areas as related to the Epic functional areas of reporting, Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar, MyEpic and any related supporting applications. Carries out detailed tasks assigned by managing groups. May work independently or as a part of a project team. Contributes to problem solving, process design & analytical support. Consults frequently w/appropriate managers on progress. May be dedicated to a single or multiple departments or business units. Leverages analysis to provide recommendation for modifications for impacted systems to organizational leadership, to garner approvals, and then coordinate the approved modifications using standard project management methodologies. Ensures that approved modifications and changes are socialized to impacted users, to ensure any impacts to existing processes and workflows are analyzed, approved, managed and facilitated in a timely manner. 

Essential Functions: 
Assists in the identification of key healthcare redesign business issues as it relates to reporting and the Epic system. 
Evaluates and distills analyses conducted by other departments for the purpsose of creating Radar, MyEpic and Reporting Workbench reports. 
Assists in development and utilizes data gathering tools, such as surveys/questionnaires, work sampling, financial modelling, and interview questions, to ensure that appropriate quantitative and qualitative data is gathered for the analyses. 
Extracts data for analysis and interpretation. 
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses on a broad array of issues across disciplines, projects and functional areas as assigned. 
Prepares preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams, clients, and/or department management. 
Recommends suggested action steps based on the analysis results. 
Prepares reports in accordance w/the analytical results. 
Follows through any further actions based on the results using sound business judgment. 
Assists in the development of project proposals, recommendations, implementation plans, communication packages, performance measurement tools, and training materials related to the assigned projects. 
Contributes to practice development and department administration including, recruiting, debriefing on training, and developing thought pieces on topics like change management. 
May provide input to performance reviews of others in department. 

Basic Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Economics, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field. 
Previous experience required in designing, developing and implementation in the Epic areas of Radar, MyEpic and the Report Workbench. 
Demonstrates solid analytical skills, self-initiative and innovation. 
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis for the purpose of providing requested deliverables. 
Must demonstrate effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, and presentation. 
Proficient w/PC applications including spreadsheet, word processing, and graphics packages. 
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. 
Class work or experience with health information systems or healthcare reporting. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Previous related analytical and/or consulting experience preferred. 
Some class work or familiarity with SQL, Epic Clarity, and databases. 
Some class work or experience with Business Objects or Crystal Reports. 
Some class work with data analytics. 
Familiarity with Epic ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and relational databases. 
Team oriented and a critical thinker.
