A Global Pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Germany is currently looking for an experienced Construction Lead/Manager to oversee the construction of a multi-million pound manufacturing facility.The responsibilities of the Construction Lead/Manager are as follows:
• Oversight of the current Construction Management company (CM) whilst liaising with site Operations and Maintenance groups to ensure effective Operational delivery.
• Responsible for the development of Construction Execution Plans and driving the construction scheduling.
• Monitor the progress of the project against the proposed plan reporting any deviations to the current Project Manager.
• Complete all change control documentation prior to construction managing the costing forecast whilst reviewing the cost reports on a monthly basis for the Construction Management Company.
To fulfil these requirements for the Construction Lead/Manager you should have the following skills/experience:
• Strong track record in Construction Management projects within the Pharmaceutical,Biotech, Chemical, Petrochemical or similar regulated (GMP) Manufacturing industries.
• Experience in management of large scale construction projects with experience of ATEX rated environments would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills with experience of working within a team environment.
• Educated to degree level in a related subject or equivalent experience.
