Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce that one of our major Rail Industry and Engineering clients are seeking an OCS Advisor (Overhead Catenary System) to advise and monitor on-going rail projects within Saudi Arabia. The project that is of the main focus at this point is the Haramain High Speed Rail; territories covered by this position are Jeddah-Madrid
Role Requirements:
- Monitor report and advise on the work of the Contractor, Engineer, and various contractors in designing, installing testing and commissioning the OCS, and traction power supply sub-system for the HHR.
- Provide guidance to the SRO-PM for the power supply various issues.
- Assist the SRO-PM in developing and mentoring junior Saudi Railways engineers.
- Review the monthly progress reports of the Engineer and the Contractor, advise on the deviations and proposed actions for corrections.
- Attend design and construction meetings to be fully informed on the progresses, the open technical issues between the Engineer and the Contractor and advise on actions and instructions the Client has to undertake/provide, if any.
- Visit construction sites from time to time and prepare reports.
- Review and advise on the Engineer’s recommendation about the contractor’s claims and variations.
- Assist on the prequalification of subcontractors and suppliers and attend quality and acceptance tests if instructed by the project manager.

Salary:
