Description
An elite investment bank is seeking a Senior Support Specialist to join the Valuations group in Downtown Manhattan. This group is responsible for all valuation control issues.The role focuses on Consumer ABS/MBS/CMBS/RMBS and other securitized products in relation to Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment monitoring and calculation, model issues, Day 1 p&l reviews and ad hoc complex trade reviews.
Responsibilities include:
- Running month end independent price verification
- Analysis of model and calibration performance
- Liaising with the Front Office
Skills Required:
- 2-3 years working in evaluation
- Strong understanding of Price Testing
- Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills
- Experience using market data providers ( Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit)
