A hands-on Senior Technical Tester is required to join a leading investment bank consultancy on a permanent basis. Based in Central London/Canary Wharf but with travel between a number of sites the Senior Test Analyst will be supplementing the testing discipline, providing further test automation capabilities.
Focusing on client roles such as the design, build and implementation of test automation frameworks the Senior Tester will also support the development of the internal test automation framework. A hands-on position with responsibilities including;
o Test automation design - client site.
o Test automation build and execution - client site.
o On-going design and development of internal automation framework.
The internal automation framework is a generic core framework and front-end with either open source (Selenium) or a licensed tool such as QTP as the underlying tools.
The Senior Technical Tester will primarily be testing a server side application and therefore similar experience of system testing is a must. As a result you will also have created utilities to support the automation of testing with experience of the following;
o Java
o Selenium
o QTP
o SQL
o FIX
o XML
To be considered for the position of Senior Technical Tester at this leading Investment Banking consultancy you will have skills / experience in the following;
* Proven testing experience within Investment Banking and/or Consultancy.
* Client and Server side test automation experience.
* Experience of building test automation frameworks.
* One open source test automation tool and one licensed test automation tool knowledge.
* Deep knowledge of functional and non-functional testing using structured testing techniques.
* Defect Management experience.
* Risk-based testing.
* Strong client facing skills.
* Passionate about the testing industry.
* Reasonable technical capability around messaging protocols.
A base salary of between £60,000 - £70,000 is on offer to the successful Senior Tester to be complimented by a benefits package, the opportunity to working on cutting edge technologies within the Investment Banking industry.
