My client based in the heart ofLondonurgently seeks a NHS Mobile Project Manager based on a 6 months contract with the likelihood to extend.
The business wish to change the way the district nurses work in the community from returning to base to update the client records via a PC, to using a mobile device out in the community to update as they go. This will allow nurses to visit more clients each day and therefore generate more revenue. It will also allow the service to reduce its office space requirements and move from fixed to hot desk office space.
Very good communication and stakeholder management skill are required for this role as the project is delivering a major change to working practices for the nurses and some resistance could be encountered.
Key Skills needed for the NHS Mobile Project Manager:
* Mobile working in a healthcare environment
* An understanding of system Interfaces
* An understanding of mobile apps
* An understanding and current knowledge of the mobile market
* Experience of NHS Procurement with a good knowledge of the Procurement processes.
Main responsibilities for the NHS Mobile Project Manager:
* To carry out an options appraisal for the mobile devices
* Procure the selected option via the NHS procurement framework
* Define and deliver new processes for the change in working practices
* Delivery training and rollout the new mobile devices and working practices
