Description
Storage System Engineer - Tivoli, NetApp, SAN. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
Our client a a global consultancy who are looking for a Storage System Engineer to act as the SME for complex Storage and Backup environments
This role includes a wide-variety of activities, starting from initial setup and installation to Level 4 support.
Next to this, the account SME acts as a focal architect towards the customer.
1. Technical skills
- Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
- Experience in maintaining and problem solving on TSM Servers
- IBM's Enterprise Storage Subsystems
- Experience with DS8000, DS6000, DS and SAN Volume Controller (SVC)
- Good knowledge in LUN assignments, LUN mapping and masking
- SAN (Brocade 48000, DCX)
- experience with SAN fabrics, preferably with Brocade products
- experience with SAN zoning and port configurations
- Excellent knowledge about AIX (network, LVM skills, ...), advanced Linux Skills
- In depth knowledge of Netapp
- Advanced knowledge of XIV
