Description
A Machine Software Enigneer is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products.Job Responsibilities
As Machine Software Engineer, you will primarily support, maintain and optimise generic manufacturing processes and realise efficient and effective means and methods. Main activities are focused on System software processes. Support is mainly done within a UNIX environment.
In summary, your main responsibilities for this position are:
• 2nd line support on software procedures and tooling.
• Process engineering for instance: Process and/or technical improvements on existing processes/tools; design, documentation, implementation and after care of new processes/tools; setting up Service Level Agreements.
• Management of changes and incidents concerning software procedures and software tools.
• Project engineering: Involvement in projects as a subject matter expert regarding machine software.
• Give training for end-users (Dutch and English).
Job Requirement
• BSc or MSc degree. There is no preference for kind of education background; work experience is more important.
• At least 1-2 years relevant work experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes.
• Experience in UNIX.
• Knowledge of process improvement methods.
Personal Skills
• Highly motivated team player with good social and communication skills.
• Pro-active; focused on quality, analytical mind and goal oriented.
• Fluent in English in speech and in writing. There is a preference for Dutch native speakers.
