Confirmations Coordinator : Gas and Power : Trading and Shipping
World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Confirmations/Contracts Coordinator to work closely with the Documentation Negotiators, commercial teams and legal department.
About the Role:
As Confirmations/Contracts Coordinator you will be focused on the European gas, power and environmental products markets, delivering the following:
- Check of Trader Deal Sheets against the system of record to ensure accuracy of the deal capture
- Reconcile all Broker Recaps against the system of record to ensure accuracy
- Draft and ensure timely dispatch of all Counterparty Confirmations
- Receive and reconcile all Counterparty Confirmations
- Ensure compliance with the Global Contracts Policy Statements and relevant SOX Controls
- Support the provision of regular monthly MIS and KPI in respect of the CC activities
About You:
- As Confirmations/Contracts Coordinator you will ideally come from a paralegal, documentation negotiator or contract administration role within a commodity trading environment
- A sound working knowledge (ideally gained from having been in the role) of the end-to-end confirmations process involved with physical gas, power and emissions, and financial derivatives.
- A proven team player, with a record of striving for the team goals in a non-competitive environment.
This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
