An investment management firm inOld Greenwich CTis looking for a quant/developer to join their team of international researchers, trader, and technologists. This role requires exceptional programming and technical skills. They are able to sponsor candidates on a F1, OPT, TN or H1B visa, but you must currently be residing in North America. Relocation assistance is availableYour tasks will include:
- Improve the trading infrastructure.
- Research and develop statistically-based high frequency predictive signals associated with various market inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge or programming and technical skills, especially C++/.
- Recent graduate in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
- Knowledge of Matlab is a plus.
- Superior critical thinking and analytical skills along with creativity and attention to detail.
