For my client in Belgium, a large organisation within the Public Sector, I am currently looking for Technical Writers to design the technical documentation for all products (hardware or software). This is a long term contract. Both FRENCH AND DUTCH ARE MANDATORY.

The technical writers need to monitor the ergonomic, linguistic and functional quality of the various documents created and have the following tasks:

Collection of technical data & analysis Editorial

Collection of technical data relating to a product through discussions with the technicians who are at the source of the product

Identify and analyse the target of a specific product and use that emanated from it to match with the intention of the editors

Analyse and evaluate the existing documents

Prepare various technical content (product sheets, hardware description, etc.) by means of a vocabulary and a channel that content is accessible and understandable for the target audience

Migrating existing content into structured documentation by applying editorial standards or principles

 Use communication strategies in the drafting of technical documents (synthetic, visual, clear, concise, a custom tone, etc.)

The Technical Writers need to have the following Skills:

Proven experience in a similar function

Linguistic skills (to popularize, accessible to enable specialized technical content) and editorial standards

Good general ICT culture knowledge

Understanding of editorial role

FLUENT IN FRENCH AND DUTCH IS MANDATORY
