Our client is a leading Financial Services Technology Consultancy with a specialist focus on the timely delivery of niche vendor based platforms as well as innovative, proprietary built software solutions. They have a best in class mentality when it comes to sourcing talent and work with prominent Financial Services organizations on complex and intriguing projects.

With a range of household names as clients and an ever increasing pipeline of work, they require the services of a Senior Analyst Programmer with a proven track record designing and developing Enterprise Edition based solutions.

As a member of a core group of experts, you will be responsible for the development, build and deployment aspects of highly business critical Credit/Market Risk project with one of Australia's largest Investment Bank.

You will also act as the face of the firm by regularly liaising with the client stakeholders and interacting with environment and development teams to ensure the smooth deployment of applications across multiple platforms and large/distributed environments.

You will be tasked with developing eloquent code, preparing unit test plans leveraging manual or automated test approaches, resolving defects, reporting and participating in quality activities.

You will have an excellent understanding of all aspect within the SDLC and be comfortable working in heterogeneous and highly Agile environments. Candidates that have been instrumental in the end-to-end delivery of large scale projects will be of particular interest.

Requirements of the role:

  • A solid Application Development/Integration background across Java stack.
  • Experience of Agile Development Methodologies (TDD/Scrum - with Master cert ideally)
  • Understanding of EE Technologies (Spring/Hibernate/EJB's/JBOSS)
  • Understanding of the Trade Lifecycle (Cross Product)
  • Knowledge of Risk Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong client facing/stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to be versatile and adaptable (to both technologies & environments).
