Citrix Consultant - Contract/XenApp/Migration/AppSense
Are you a Citrix Specialist? My client, a large council in the North West is in the process of delivering a Windows 7 Migration Project, which requires a Citrix XenApp 5 - 6.5 expert.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will work alongside SCCM and AppSense specialist to help deliver the project on time, whilst providing a world class services to customers and users. You will be part of the core configuration team, which will help provide development support for all technologies, configure applications, users and assets in readiness for migration to the new desktop environment and provide support for issues arising directly from the migration.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Experience of working within a project team and supporting a desktop migration
- Administration and support of XenApp 6.5 and 5 including planning application silos and publishing applications
- Ideally you will be CCA or CCEA Qualified.
- AppSense experience is desirable
- Be able to respond and react quickly to changing priorities
- Be able to deal with challenging situations and timescales
This project is seen as a key part of the business model and as the Citrix specialist you will be seen as the go to person on site. Due to ridged deadlines you may be required to work out of hours, so you will need to have a flexible attitude.
