For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Requirements Engineer for a contract

Your responsibilities:

Develop and enhance the existing conceptual data model/application Business Object Model (BOM)

Specify data attributes from a business and from a technical perspective in close collaboration with business and IT subject matter experts

Evaluate existing data warehouse sources and identify required data elements (data analysis)

Create end-to-end specifications, ie source-to-target from database to database

Define business rules for computed items and complex transformations

Required Skills:

Experience in a similar role as requirements engineer/business analyst/data analyst/data architect

Strong banking know-how, especially in the securities area

Data analysis skills (eg SQL)

Strong analytical problem solving skills

Fluent written and spoken English

Fluent written and spoken German (as some databases are documented in German)

Experience in data warehouse/Business Intelligence environment is a plus

Experience in ETL tools is a plus

Experience in Reporting/BI Tools (Business Objects) is a plus

Degree level qualification in computing
