Network Solutions Architect/Engineer - CR-9762

IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Network Solutions Architect with Systems Engineering experience!  This is a 12+ month contract position located in Toronto, Canada. The work will be able to be done remotely, but some travel into local Data Centers may be required. Qualified individual will have strong architecture and senior level Cisco engineer experience to assist with the global consolidation and migration of Data Centers. Individual must have exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

REQUIRED:

  • 7+ years experience in a Solutions Architect/Systems Engineer role.
  • Must have recent Data Center Infrastructure experience.
  • Must have recent Data Center Migration and Consolidation experience.
  • Must have extensive MPLS, Systems/Network Engineering, Architecture and Routing and Switching.
  • Requires Enterprise level routing and switching experience, BGP/OSPF protocol experience, Spanning tree, VLAN Mapping, QnQ and other layer 2 switching experience, Layer 3 routing experience series), Network design/documentation experience,
  • Network Security background with Enterprise level network support experience.

    • DESIRED:

    Experience working with 3COM/HPN products and training others is highly desired!

    EDUCATION:

    4 year degree or extensive hands-on experience in lieu of degree.

    CERTIFICATIONS:

    CCNP or CCIE
