RISK CONTROL - ZURICH - PRIVATE BANKINGThe EMPLOYER
Our client is an international private bank, offering tailor made and high level services in wealth management. In order to face the growth of the company and to reinforce the middle office and risk department, they are looking for a Risk Controller profile.
The ROLE
You will work together with a team and you will report to the Head of Risk Control, your main duties will be:
- Provide support in delivering risk reports
- Ensure a monitoring of operational risks and business continuity process
- Preparation of FINMA reporting (requesting aBasellll knowledge)
- Ongoing collaboration with Finance, Treasury and the Senior Management
- Back up and cover the duties of the Head of Risk Control if needed
- Manage Risk control Project or provide support in ad hoc project, such as development of the Risk data warehouse
The ideal CANDIDATE
In order to be eligible for the role, you will tick the following boxes:
- Degree in Finance/Business or Risk + min.2 years experience in Risk control or Operational risk
- Strong exposure to banking products and banking processes
- Exposed to credit and market risk, knowledge ofBasellll
- IT literate (Excel + MS Access)
- Fluent in English + in German ideally
- Business oriented, international minded, able to work in a team and independently
- Good communication skills and fast learner
- Swiss or EU passport holder
