Role Responsibilities:

The following are key responsibilities fulfilled by a software support engineer in this role
  • Point of contact between traders, developers, and QA teams
  • Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments
  • Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/ automation with scripting
  • Develop a deep technical knowledge in order to optimize system setup in a low latency trading environment and assist developers when customizing automated trading strategies.
  • Troubleshooting of complex systems issues
  • Release implementation and post-release testing
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts


Required Skills:
  • 0-2 years experience in IT
  • Recent graduates encouraged (CS, Math, or Financial Engineering background) from top tier technical organizations- Bachelors a must
  • Programming experience in one language (C++)
  • Linux and Solaris Operating System experience
  • Financial, Trading, Market Data knowledge a plus
