Support Analyst - Programming experienceA Hedge fund in Houston TX is currently looking for a Software Support analyst with programming experience. Any language will be considered, as long as the candidate has a thorough understanding of OOP, and is willing to undertake support tasks. The client is looking for someone with more than 2 years experience. The firm is a growing organisation considered to be at the forefront of technical innovations in the trading world.
They are looking for a candidate with a strong technical bias towards unix/linux/windows and SQL environments. Whilst a commitment to service and support is essential for this role you will in fact spend around 70% of your time in a technical, hands-on capacity analysing problems and creating solutions across multiple platforms and development environments.
The candidate needs the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people alike extracting critical information to enable effective solutions.
