I am currently looking to speak to Finance Business Partners who are qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).The market is currently in a bit of a lull due to budgetting going on within the financial institutions. However, this is the perect time for those who are currently looking for contracts or will be looking for contracts heading into the new year to speak to recrutiment consultant who deals with tier one finance. Below you can find an example of or positions in your market that will becoming avaiolable into the new year.
The role will require managing stakeholders both within COO Finance Change and other business areas within the wider Finance Change Community. As a member of a team of four, of which two are dedicated to Cost of Change Management, you will need to be able to work well both individually and as part of a larger team.
Working as a Business Partner your role will require you to provide financial management, analysis, evaluation and ability to present and deliver monthly financials to senior stakeholders. Good interpersonal skills are essential.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide Finance partnering to the Finance Change Leads in respect of planning
* Delivery and coordination of all Finance Change operational cost planning & forecasting activities in accordance with Group policy & requirements
* Identify areas of opportunity for the Finance Change Function and work with the Finance Change Leads to ensure delivery
* Contribute to the creation of a high performing team to deliver business objectives & targets
* Act as a source of professional expertise in respect of Finance policy
* Support the implementation of operational plans in the context of the strategic direction
* Support senior stakeholders in order to influence key business decisions
* Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise business results
* Review, evaluate and mitigate potential risks
* Ongoing process review; look to continually develop and improve
Essential Skills/Experience :
* Working knowledge of SAP
* Experience working as a Finance Business Partner
* Experience supporting with budgeting & forecasting processes
* Experience of Month end processes
Desirable
* Partial or Fully Qualified Accountant
* Experience supporting with Investment reporting & budgeting
* Project accounting exposure.
