Description
Our client based in Glasgow is currently seeking a VB.net developer for a 6 month contract.The successful candidate will be an IT all rounder with specific experience in the following areas:
- VB.net
- ASP.net
- Classic ASP
- HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JSON
- Experience setting up and configuring Team Foundation Server
- Adding ASP/ASP.Net applications to TFS and setting up IIS in Hyper-V environments to support both (and SQL server) running side by side.
- Exposure to SQL Server replication
- Windows 2012 domain/user management, security and networking
- ASP.NET should include MVC and Entity Framework minimum 2 years
The rate for this role is between £220 and £260 per day.
