On behalf of my client I am seeking two Support Analysts with Credit Risk knowledge.

As the Support Analyst you will work onsite with a leading Investment Bank and assist with a long term CRO IT project based in Zurich.

For this contract the support analyst will provide 1st and 2nd level support on number of in-house developed and/or third party applications used by the CRO business to calculate and report the Credit Risk across the bank.

Therefore the Support Analyst must offer knowledge and expertise in the following areas;
Develop a thorough understanding of function and importance of CRO IT and in particular the Credit Risk applications to perform the below tasks.
Provide/execute timely and quality support to the issues reported against CRO IT Credit Risk applications.
Ablility to communicate effectively with local and potentially remote users/colleagues to discuss and understand the issue.
Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Technically ability to resolve issues using UNIX, SQL and application knowledge.
Manage projects and drive incidents to resolution.
Proactively monitor scheduled jobs, batches, identify the area of improvements eg automating manual monitoring processes and implement them.
Proactively monitor OLA and SLA between IT to IT and IT to business.
Proactively suggest improvements and drive change.
Able to communicate delays of batches/jobs to user and senior management proactively.
Able to escalate critical and high priority issues to Senior management both horizontally and vertically.
Able to complete technical root cause analysis and detailed investigation of issue in agreed time.
Chair and manage calls and meetings (inc. Major Incident Calls).

In regards to the skills required, both of the Support Analysts should offer the following;

At least 3 years of IT experience and min of 2 years of experience providing application support.
Knowledge of Unix, SQL, Database and web technology
Problem Solving and priorities workloads in a demanding environment essential preferably in Financial support.
Investment Banking/Financial knowledge
Proactive, can do attitude combined with strong communication skills.
Quick learning, self-starter with ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Thorough understanding and practical experience of ITIL processes and guidelines
Understanding of Credit Risk business and systems preferred.
People leadership skills
