Description
Test interactive video software applications and equipment functionality. Testing will include code applications download and start up, User Interface test and verification, video and audio quality testing.- Track and execute first level of debug on issues detected, collect diagnostic data for SW engineering.
- Update manual test procedures.
- Generate Defect Reports in Jira defect database
- Configure networks & hardware and troubleshoot network & hardware failures.
- Measure and troubleshoot Ethernet and RF signals with industry standard test equipment and processes.
SKILLS:
- BS in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, 5+ years experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ethernet technologies (TCP, UDP, DHCP, SSL, Routers, Firewalls)
- Experience with one or more of the following test tools: Wireshark, MPEG Analyzer, RF Spectrum Analyzer
- Experience in test Scripting and integrating software and hardware is preferred.
- Networking protocol experience [IP routing, IP Multicasting, IPTV, HLS, RTSP, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with MPEG video encryption is a plus.
- Must work well within a team environment.
