K&M Systems, Inc. is IMMEDIATELY looking for a RF Engineer to provide cellular network support in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple aspects of RF Engineering troubleshooting and optimization, interference analysis, hardware and software defects, and drive testing. This is a 2 month contract with a possibility of extension. The Engineer who was working had a family emergency and had to go home. We need someone to finish out the contract.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Redesigning of mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints.
Planning frequency assignments and identifying technical parameters for network growth.
Utilizing propagation tools and other RF related equipment such as Map Info, Geoplan, etc.
Conducting data analysis of switch statistics and drive data by conducting drive testing potential.
Utilizing knowledge of CDMA.
Evaluating coverage problems and new service area requirements for coverage cells.
Desired Skills & Experience:
2-5+ years-experience as an RF Engineer.
Experience with CDMA and Alcatel-Lucent technologies preferred.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering required, M.S. preferred (accredited universities only)
Experience in RF optimization required.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Must clear background/driving record check & drug test.
Must be able to legally work in the U.S.
