Description

We're looking for writers to contribute to our fast-growing online magazine and writing platform, Planet Ivy. We need talented people to write entertaining, sharp and original articles aimed at 18-30s in the UK.

Writing for us is on a voluntary and unpaid contributor basis, but we do also offer a bonus revenue-share scheme for writers who attract large numbers of pageviews. The role is designed to be very flexible and writers can either work remotely or come in to our office in Kings Cross, London.

You will receive training documents, feedback on your writing, be sent ideas for articles and have the opportunity to go to events and interview people of interest as well as being part of a publication which achieves a million visitors per month. We regularly have articles featured on the Huffington Post and on the front page of aggregation sites and aim to get as many of our writers featured as possible. We’ve also been sourced by the Guardian, Gawker, Metro and others.

One of our writers recently had this to say on our anonymous contributor survey, and we couldn’t have said it better: "It's a great opportunity for amateur and professional writers alike, there is constructive feedback and very little amendment to your pieces; anything big is checked back with you first. Your creative voice isn't stifled and, if anything, you're encouraged to have strong, even controversial, opinions."

If you’re keen, please send us relevant example of your writing - no CVs please, and let’s keep it casual shall we? Please include your email address so that we can add you to our database if your application is successful.
