Web application firewall engineer -London- £550A web application firewall engineer position has arisen in aLondonbanking organisation.
The contract is destined to last for 6 months and the role is offering a rate of up to £550 a day. This web application firewall engineer role is to join the programme at the initiation phase to work on the design and implementation of F5 and Imperva technologies.
The candidate will need to have extensive knowledge and experience of web application security, moreover of F5 and Imperva WAF's, have enterprise level design experience and implementation experience as well as understanding and having a strong background in network security.
Key accountabilities
- To deliver the initial implementation of the F5 and Imperva.
- Implementation of local traffic managers (LTM's).
- Configure and manage Imperva WAF's and F5.
- Liase with application support teams to manage changes to WAF rule sets.
- Be the local point of contact/SME on both Imperva and F5 escalations.
