Job Description:
This position requires an extensive client focus and a thorough understanding of the clients business and technical environment, main responsibilities include :
-Analysis & documentation of the existing tools/monitoring/automation systems.
-Working closely with technical, account & client staff to identify/design/implement enhancements.
-Document the support tasks/activities required to maintain the existing environments..
-Document the process/procedure tasks/activities to identify, design & implement additional functionality for the aforementioned
-Day to day support of monitoring, automation, tools and capacity management.
-Identify & document the gaps between the existing tools/monitoring requirements & the capabilities of Nagios. Recommend & implement the Nagios toolset to replace the existing.
Knowledge and practical experience is required in at least 5 of the following areas
EasyCall, EventSentry, KiwiSyslog
MacroExpert, PRTG
SNMPc
TeamQuest
Nagios
CMDB, reporting automation
Configuration/change management & version control
Should speak Swedish and English
