Description
Fiber engineer needed to assist Sr. Engineers responsible for managing six fiber drawing types per IT drawing standards: Fiber Allocation Tables, Fiber Diagrams, Key Maps, Link Drawings, Site Drawings, and Logic Drawings. Candidate must be able to work with little direction to ascertain fiber optic construction scope of work, which is a small but critical part of very large electrical projects. SKILLS:
Must have working knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent DMX platform and GE JMUX platform is a great plus. Prior fiber knowledge is a must. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The candidate could also be straight out of college, a fast learner and interested in the above-mentioned projects. Telecom experience is a plus.
