We are looking for an Advisory Software Asset Manager with more than 7 years of experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Act as facilitator between Procurement, Finance and IT Custodians in a pro-active manner
• Translate contractual clauses into IT recommendations and license consumption metrics
• Explain optimal usage of entitlements (group presentations and individual coaching)
• Formalize IT expert proposals into requirements for contract negotiations
• Evaluate future license demand and optimize entitlement volumes and costs
• Manage the pool of licenses for products in your scope and trigger additional purchases
• Report to management on license consumption, entitlements and compliance position
• Facilitate all parties in case of audits on products in your scope
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master degree with economical background
• General knowledge of IT hardware and software
• Experience with license contracts
• Understanding of how to prepare for audits
• Analytical skills
• Conceptual thinking
• Good communication skills (English as working language)
• Ability to define and follow-up action plans
