Description
The IT PM will be part of the team coordinating the Commercial Operations IT separation efforts for headquarters and international affiliates. This will provide support for the separation activities working with business partners and cross-functional IT colleagues to ensure a final separation at the end of the transition period. Additional assignments may include, but not limited to, new system deployments and development of compliance program for international commercial systems.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with multiple international business groups, functional areas and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables.
- Represent IT on process/application steering committee.
- Assess the degree to which changes to scope; issues and risks will affect projects working with department, management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
- Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
- Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to project team, department and division management.
- Participates as needed or required in regular meetings of IT team to address IT strategies, their integration, their progress, and/or issues needing promotion or problem solving.
- Adheres to IS processes deliverables, stage gates, and control processes in accordance with SOX compliance.
- Integrates compliance requirements into line of business policies, procedures, controls, and training.
- Assisting with core Compliance functions including risk assessments, and other projects drive by the corporate compliance team.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Looking for someone from a consulting background or who has internal experience actually working on global projects. Must have experience delivering a project or working on something that impacts a global business.
- Previous work implementing large scale programs in foreign countries that support commercial (sales & marketing) or Back Office initiatives.
- Strong Project Management experience required
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to influence without direct control and/or authority
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment
- Must be able to evaluate workload, available resources, and to adjust schedules and priorities as required.
- Must possess the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret statistical information.
- Possesses skills at documenting service levels, implementation progress, and outcomes.
- Business and process experience desired
- Can explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences in a persuasive and convincing manner.
- Broad and deep IT knowledge coupled with equivalent knowledge of the processes and activities of the business
- Proven track record in building good working relationships
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Previous experience with regulatory compliance; legal, risk, audit and policy/procedure/process.
- IT Compliance Program Management
- Bachelor's Degree required - MIS or business based degrees preferred
- At least 5 years' experience in project management, business information systems or business systems analysis.
- PMP, CISA, CISM, ITIL certifications are a plus
