Position Objectives:
Drive the integration of a recently acquired Public Wi-Fi business and align and integrate it with the cellular business.
Job Description& Responsibilities:
- Review the technology, and business processes of the Wi-Fi network
- Develop key metrics for the WiFi network and monitoring dashboards
- Prepare a Gap analysis vs. best international practice (for both technology and operational processes)
- Develop plans and budgets to close these gaps including socialising the plans with all key stakeholders and securing their buy-in.
- Secure the resources to execute the plan.
- Execute the plans on time and on-budget
Qualifications & Experience:
- University Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics engineering or equivalent
- 2 years recent experience of rolling out and/or managing a large scale (000's APs) public Wi-Fi network, ideally with Operator rather than Vendor
- 10 years experience of Telecommunications or IT field
- Extensive knowledge and professional experience in Wi-Fi related technologies
- Knowledge of the techniques to integrate Wi-Fi and cellular networks
- Formal training in project management techniques and methodologies (PMI, PRINCE or similar) will be considered an advantage
- Essential skills: Team work, Communication skills and knowledge transfer capability.
