SAP BASIS Consultant - North West - 6 month Contract - £350 - £500 pdProgressive recruitment are currently recruiting for an SAP BASIS Consultant for a leading client in the North West. The basis Consultant will have Experience of working in an IT Technical Support function.
The successful SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for day to day support of the SAP basis system, technical upgrades and initialisation of service packs.
Expectations:
·Knowledge of AIX
·Knowledge of Oracle
·Monitor the SAP systems using the appropriate tools
·Manage SAP portals
·Previously worked with ECC6
·Knowledge of Solution Manager
·Knowledge of any of these SAP BW, BPC, FI, SD, MM, WM,
·Knowledge of BAU tasks daily checks, support test environments, management of transports, profile settings, performance, system copies, spool and printer configuration
Key SKILLS
·3+ years experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant
·Knowledge of AIX
·Knowledge of Oracle
·Knowledge of Solution Manager
·Highly accurate and has an excellent attention to detail
·Consistency and reliability in relation to standard of work produced
·Ability to work in a fast paced project environment and under pressure
·Strong communication skills - written and verbal. Confidence in presenting to diverse audiences.
·Innovative with drive and passion to continually evolve the role and the systems for the benefit of the business
