Description
Candidates coming from the financial services industry are strongly preferred. Experience around contract negotiations within regulation, compliance and limitations is a must.- Effectively negotiate contract terms, conditions and pricing; establish service level agreements that hold suppliers accountable for performance.
- Coordinate with management to (i) ensure business requirements are incorporated into sourcing strategies and corresponding supplier statements of work (ii) prioritize contracts workload and support activities (iii) provide input and analysis in response to management inquiries regarding contract and spend related matters (iv) ensure timely and professional contract support
- Cultivate and develop effective relationships
- Conduct financial and market analysis of supplier products and/or services
- Effectively integrate and coordinate program and practices with business, legal, and finance to ensure (i) establish and maintain adequate controls (ii) compliance with governmental regulations and partnership contractual requirements (iii) utilization of best business practices
- Advise senior management regarding sourcing strategy and planning
- Contribute to team through best practices, continuous improvement, and mentoring
- Lead cross-functional project teams
4-yr degree or CPM Cert. Adv degree preferred
6-10 yrs contracting and sourcing experience
Demonstrated experience concluding on complex high dollar service agreements
In-depth knowledge of contract types, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, contract law and procurement tools
Highly effective interpersonal and technical skills

Confident presence in person and phone
Strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative bid evaluation)
Excellent negotiation and strategy skills
