Real Staffing is currently working closely with our client, a leading UK based bank to assist them in the recruitment of an additional senior member for their Financial Crime Advisory function. Joining as MLRO you will take responsibility for the providing advise and direction on financial crime to the organisation and the reporting to the SOCA and suspicious activity. A key part of the role will be in the use of your understanding of the UK regulatory environment, and the policies and procedures already in place within the business to assist in the delivery of timely and correct information to business leaders. You will also be involved of the future development of these policies and procedures. You and your team will take an active part in the review of notifications from various screening measures and the escalation where necessary. It is expected that you will have considerable knowledge of all areas of financial crime ideally including Sanctions, ABC, CDD measures, PEPs and be comfortable with JMLSG Guidance notes.
