DUTIES:
- Develop web and mobile dynamic and data driven products, applications, and microsites portfolio of global digital products.
- Perform web development, template development, testing, debugging, integration, documentation, and deployment in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience developing dynamic web applications on Unix and Linux.
- Thorough understanding of the web, specifically as it relates to browser capabilities and limitations, as well as advanced Server Side scaling and caching technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of o HTML and CSS o JavaScript and popular JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Underscore.js, Backbone.js).
- AJAX
- 1 or more Server Side web publishing language/framework (ie PHP, JSP, Perl/CGI, or python)
- XML/XSLT
- OO design and development
- GIT, SVN or CVS
- The capabilities and limitations of modern social media APIs.
- Unit testing.
- Experience with large scale database-driven web development.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as strong attention to detail. a Good interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills. a Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
