News Headquarters is seeking dozens of new writers to join our rapidly expanding news team.Pay per post is $5 (to start) and the typical writer with news experience can complete 2-3 articles per hour for $10-$15 (Starting pay). Minimum of 200 words per article. We don't force higher caps because sometimes a story only requires 200 words. Expect to write some longer and some shorter pieces to match the necessary information needed.
Please note: Our stories range from breaking news to viral and fun pieces that surround events of the day. We are looking for writers who have a conversational yet newsworthy "voice."
This is an entry level position with room for growth.
Our network currently requires thousands of articles per month which means very steady work for anyone we hire.
We are looking for consistency so please include which days of the week you can post and the hours you are online and ready to write (Eastern Time Zone).
We pay weekly direct to your Paypal account.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You MUST have Wordpress experience.
2. You MUST be a U.S. Citizen (this will be verified).
3. You should have at least a basic understanding of DMCA laws for photo and written copyright.
4. Have an understanding of what it means to write good news print.
You will be placed with a team of veteran new media news writers and given the chance to increase your output and pay over time.
