Description
- Experience 5 to 20 years in the oil and gas industry. Individuals with only five to ten years of industry experience will need to have experience in Gulf of Mexico shelf platforms and pipelines.
- A degreed engineer; prefer Mechanical or Chemical, but Civil/Structural or Petroleum or Electrical engineering degrees are acceptable.
- Most experience should be in designing, managing and operating offshore oil and gas platforms and pipelines. Prefer fixed platform experience over floating experience.
- Operating and EPC experience prefered.
- Need to understand how to organize and manage multiple projects repairs, upgrades and new-builds.
- Need to understand how to manage GOM assets
- Needs to be high energy and passionate about offshore facilities.
- Willing to travel to Louisiana (fabrication yards) and offshore to make site visits and inspections.
- Needs to be willing to work in a relatively small team where your decisions may be challenged by your peers (good to have a "thick skin").
- Team player, action oriented, but knows when to ask for help (never a problem) before "getting into the ditches".

- The Construction Staff Engineer would manage offshore projects consisting of new facilities, refurbishments/upgrades to existing facilities and production operations
