Description
As a Service Architect (SA) you are the technical SPOC for clients related to SC Storage.
Your work includes the following activities and deliverables related to the complete service Lifecycle of customers.
Pre-sales:
- Sales Support towards bid teams if required;
- End to end technical design assurance;
- Create implementation plan and handover to project leader;
- Cost analysis and estimation on data migration and operation.
During the contract
- Large change involvement. Preparing, guiding and validating SC Storage changes related to customer base;
- Creation of business cases regarding cost optimization services for customer base;
- Performance and Availability validation and control. You will have to monitor Service Levels proactively and monitor improvements upon completion;
- Develop innovation opportunities and guide its implementation;
- Develop data migration architectures and monitoring their implementation;
- Customer contact for Landscape Architects. You will be primus interpares between customer landscape architect and subject matter experts/specialists;
- Provide monthly input towards SC Storage Capacity Manager related to changing volumes or services;
- Provide regular input towards Knowledge Group Leaders on architectural movements at customer base;
- Cooperate with SC Storage Service Manager on customer issues;
- Yearly present SC Storage roadmap and or Service Descriptions to customer base.
Contract termination
- Create decommissioning plan and provide input to project leader
MUST haves:
- VMAX/VNX (EMC);
- N-Series (IBM/NetApp);
- Backup/Restore & Disaster Recovery products;
- Performance & Capacity Management, Monitoring & Reporting.
NICE to have:
- ITIL Processes;
- Cost Management;
- Service Delivery/Operations experience.
