A manager at a top investment bank in Downtown, Manhattan is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. This business analyst will be strictly focusing on Dodd Frank Volcker Rule related projectsI am working directly with the hiring manager for this role and will have a significant say throughout the process.
The right business analyst must have previous experience working with Volcker. As well the individual must have knowledge of Hedge Funds and other covered funds.
This will be a 6+ month contract that the manager will look to constantly extend - please do not apply unless you are interested in something long term.
The rate will be based on experience, but they are looking to pay for a Senior Consultant.

- Extensive experience of building stakeholder relationships, managing communications plans, tracking, assessing, and reporting on the analysis process. Ability to adapt to the evolving regulatory landscape and understanding related impacts.

Solid working experience analyzing business architecture, prioritising requirements, and preparing decision packages, in order to tailor analytical activities as needed. This will include selection of business analysis techniques, evaluation of project complexity and constraints, helping to define the process that will be used to manage requirements and assess the progress of the work.
- Manage requirements conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and the project team remain in agreement on the solution scope, and that requirements are well documented and communicated to stakeholders so that knowledge gained by the analyst remains available for future use.

Solid understanding of common business management and decision making concepts, principles, activities and practices, together with industry and product knowledge and an understanding of relevant regulatory, compliance, and governance frameworks. The candidate needs to exhibit strong analytical skills to ensure the successful generation and productive consideration of new ideas, ensure that decisions and solutions are effective in addressing the underlying problem and meeting defined objectives. Excellent communications skills (both written and oral) are required as well as the ability to work within a diverse global team in creating the Business Requirement document.
