Description
My NHS client based in London is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a piece of work with them until March 2014.The person will have extensive experience as a GP Practice Manager but an excellent understanding of patient flows into and out of community care and secondary care. The role begins with some scoping and data collating and analysing this before using the results to improve the partnership working and patient flows between community care and primary care.
The organisation will need to understand any barriers, potential solutions, costs and savings.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience & understanding of performance and change management of service provision
- An excellent understanding of NHS data requirements and well developed skills in manipulating, analysing and reporting complex information from a variety of data management systems and presenting to different audiences
- Advanced knowledge in report/query writing using Microsoft Excel spread sheets/pivot tables and Access databases
- Advanced knowledge of NHS Data Set Manual Data Dictionary, including codes and classifications and of National Waiting List/Times Targets and Initiatives
