Brief Description of Job Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relations with senior business executiveevelop new insights into company business model and pain points, and deliver actionable, high-impact results
- Lead development of plans and strategies for data management processes and IT programs for the line of business, providing hands-on assistance in data modelling, technical implementation of vendor products and practices
- Facilitate, guide, and influence the project teams in the right information technology architecture and become interface between business and IT solutions
- Develop Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Maturity Model for the entire organization purely from the data perspective
- Document the use of all business critical data, their definition, source, usage, storage, processing, legal and security risk aspects.
- Create executive presentations, architecture documents, and IT white papers
Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in data modelling, data governance and quality process within a large corporate environment
- Experience with a successful MDM implementation tool is highly desirable.
- Experience with BI Technology and Big Data is a plus.
- Experience in working with a distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment; preferably involving an onshore/offshore model, highly desirable
- Excellent skills in MS Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Unit Testing Tool & techniques
Special Skills Required
- Data Analysis, Data Modeling & Database Design: Must have both Operational and Dimensional Data Modeling (Star Schema) skills using standard data modelling tools, Conceptual Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, Knowledge on Master data
- Database, Data Warehousing, ETL, BI and Reporting tools and processes. Oracle BI, SQL Server BI, Oracle E-business Suite
- Big Data, NOSQL and Cloud technology.
- Unstructured or Semi Structured Data Processing techniques
- Governance of Data Quality Concepts and Data Privacy Principles
- Good understanding of information technology topics covering solution architecture, application architecture and infrastructure is an advantage, understanding of EA frameworks such as TOGAF, or Zachman
- Data integrity resolution, Data placement and Data stewardship
- Bachelo Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
- Master Degree in relevant information technology discipline, preferred
