PHP Developer

PHP Developer - £50,000 plus benefits

An award winning, highly creative team situated in their modern open-plan offices close to the River Thames require an experienced PHP Developer to join their development team. The offices are a mere five minutes' walk from Fulham Broadway, Parsons Green and Putney Bridge stations and offer a creative, light and enjoyable location to code.

Reporting directly to the IT Director within a development team which is currently six Developers of various levels the PHP Developer will be working on cutting edge projects with a clear career path with progression ready and waiting.

The Developer will be working on existing projects whilst also working alongside Senior Developers and the IT Director on greenfield projects.

Required Skills

* Outstanding PHP skills.

* Experiences with Apache and MySQL web servers and databases.

* Excellent HTML, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX and CSS skills.

* Solid Object Oriented Programming experience.

* SVN or similar version control system.

* Good architecture design and scalability problem solving.

* Experience working in both Unix and Windows environment.

* A history of working with payment gateways like PayPal and other credit card solution.

* Have genuinely written innovative and exciting code that you can demonstrate.

Good to have

* Knowledge of asp.net, MSSQL and Windows server.

* Knowledge of MVC style frameworks as well as bespoke frameworks

* Smarty.

* JSON.

* HTML 5 (Websockets)

* Node.JS.

* Social media skills with Facebook, twitter integration.

* Passionate in web technologies.
