Role:
Once a year, our client is applying a major SAP support pack. As a Support Pack Testing Coordinator, it is your job to:
- define and manage the testing approach and organization (network)
- manage the timely preparation (scoping, Scripting, data preparation and Solution manager set up)
- ensure timely execution and issue resolution of the global and regional test cycles
Your main tasks will be:
- Define testing approach for Support Pack waves and document it in the Master test plan
- Setup and coordinate global, regional and local testing network
- Agree global, regional and local test scope
- Coordinate the preparation of the test cycles (scoping, Scripting, data preparation and uploading in Solution Manager)
- Ensure test cycle execution is performed in a timely fashion, with support of testing network for global regional and market testing.
- Daily/weekly reporting of test completion progress to impacted teams & management
- Drive defect management through to completion, ie resolve all test script failures
- Analysis, maintenance and distribution of results and reports to management
- Support and Back up for deployment activities
Requirements:
- Good Project Management skills; especially adherence to tight timelines
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in running test cycles
- Knowledge and experience of solution manager best practice and limitations
- Broad knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
- Testing Management, procedures and tools (Solution Manager)
- Experience in setting up and managing centralised as well as local testing teams (international project)
- Experience in managing on-/off-shore testing teams
- Good Cross-functional/integration knowledge and understanding of business processes
- Experience in big global SAP implementation or similar
- Understanding of Change & release process
