Description
We have an URGENT requirement for an experienced SharePoint Developer for a Dublin based customer; this customer is based in the Dublin area (Prime Location). Initially this a 6 month contract with a very high possibility of an extension of a further 6 months.
Role:
Key player in the implementation of any SharePoint projects in accordance with a directed programme of work
Work as part of a team to identify business requirements, design/test enhance and deploy SharePoint projects
Resolution of SharePoint and development issues for the programming team
Provide support, advice and guidance to the internal team as required
Support any new or existing SharePoint developments with the internal team
Transfer SharePoint technical knowledge and techniques to the development team in a structured way
Manage, train, develop and mentor our current internal development team to bring them to the point where they are capable of delivering SharePoint development projects without external assistance
Work with the internal Project Manager to communicate with the various stakeholders in order to ensure optimal commitment from stakeholders for the project
Work with designated Technical Architects as required
Requirement:
6+ year's .NET development experience
4+ year's experience in developing and implementing SharePoint applications through the full life cycle, including business analysis, requirements gathering, solution architecting, development, testing, deployment and support. At least two years' experience should be in MOSS 2010
Experience with rapid development/Agile methodologies
Development using SharePoint Object Model with .Net, event receivers, custom web parts, workflows using both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
Experience developing applications which use SQL Server and other data sources
Vast experience developing with InfoPath browser based forms
MCTS qualifications for SharePoint Administration or SharePoint Development in 2010
Experience in administering SharePoint in a large corporate environment and a good working knowledge of general IT infrastructure (AD, Windows Server, networking, virtualisation etc)
